Zaccheus
A couple weeks ago the kids were sick so we had home church. The girls were pretty into the Zaccheus story so we tried to find as many versions as we had at home. Nate asked them to draw a picture of Jesus and Zaccheus. Violet was very into this idea and drew two. Maybe Nate should homeschool and I should get a job.

Strong work, Nate. Its very difficult to show detail with crayon. I can almost tell what type of tree Zaccheus was in...Olive, right??

I like how Violet provided two interpretations: one in which both Jesus and Zaccheus look old and angry and one in which they look young and happy. Very interesting...
When Nate was working on his proportions for Zaccheus, was he just trying to imagine of Uncle Gary? ;)
