Day of Rest

We don't have much to post today. We have stayed here at Lona and Dave's apartment for most of the day, just getting some rest and spending Sunday like a Sunday is meant to be spent. We made significant progress today in getting Anara to eat some solid foods. She ate a whole container of carrots and almost a whole container of bananas, and a container of pears on top of her normal bottles of formula. We'll get some meat on those bones yet. She's also enjoyed being able to crawl around on the floor and play. She doesn't get into the big, complex toys yet. She's pretty content to play with a plastic ring or Amanda's bracelet.

We're not going to post any pictures today...it just takes too long to load them on this connection. If you're reading this, though, we would really appreciate your prayers for tomorrow. Our visa interview appointment is tomorrow afternoon at 3:00, which will be about 5:00 in the a.m. at home. It shouldn't be much more than a 10-15 minute talk with a representative at the Embassy. Just pray that they didn't find anything in our paperwork that they think is a problem and they allow everything to pass for us to go home on Tuesday.
