Pic Fix

Anara's procedure today was another successful one. We'll post more details on how everything went later (maybe). Until then, thanks again for all the prayers and encouragement. Anara is home, external fixator is gone and she's already loving it.

Clowning with stickers before surgery.
Mama holding her two babies.

Pizza party to celebrate the homecoming.

Look at me!

Thank you, God!

I'm so happy for her!!! I hope you don't think I'm the worst friend (aunt) in the world. I fell asleep on the couch last night and then today was insane (even though I didn't call, I was thinking about you all all day today) and now I'm on call. I'll call tomorrow and stop by after I leave work. Love you guys!!!!

That's super! Is Anara going to have to have any therapy to regain strength or range of motion or anything? Or will it come back on its own? I imagine she must be pretty stiff after 6 weeks in one position.

Amanda, you have made an incredible difference in Anara's life, not just with medical care but with the love of a family. Both of your daughters are precious and beautiful. I hope Anara will be much more comfortable now, and that you will have it easier as the holidays approach.
